The slipway on Rosmoney Pier needs to be mended before someone is seriously injured. That’s the view of Independent Westport councillor John O’Malley.
The councillor says he has been made aware of dangerous holes on the pier which could cause serious injuries if anyone was to fall as a result.
The slipway is used by people travelling to and from the islands in Clew Bay and councillor O’Malley says it’s important that these slipways are maintained to allow them to be safely used.
He has been speaking to Midwest Radio’s John Morley about what now needs to be done..
