Gardai have seized over €11,500 worth of drugs in the Galway area yesterday.
As part of Operation Tara, Connemara Gardaí, accompanied by Gardaí from Bóthar na Trá, searched a residence in the Camus area of Co. Galway yesterday evening.
Cannabis worth €10,000, cocaine worth €1,350 and ketamine worth €380 (pending analysis) along with drug paraphernalia were seized.
A male in his 20s was arrested and detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 in relation to the sale and supply of drugs.
