The scenic Sheeffry Pass has reopened to the public following extensive work to the route.
Councillor Christy Hyland has welcomed the news and says it has been completed to the highest standard of work.
The road was closed for a time to allow for reconstruction of a retaining wall and for works to be completed on the road.
Councillor Hyland says locals are delighted that the road has reopened and can now go about their business without having to use alternative routes.
