We have to erect more national monuments to celebrate those who fought for Irish independence.
That's according to Fine Gael Senator Sean Kyne.
The Galway Senator says that it's extraordinary we have nothing to celebrate figures like Michael Collins or Countess Markievicz.
He also says there is no reason for the lack of monuments and if erected, they could have the potential to be a massive tourist attraction.
