Gardaí in Galway are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry into a street brawl in the city last weekend in which three people were hospitalised.
At least six people were involved at three different locations throughout the city.
The Galway City Tribune say Gardaí are investigating whether the fight could have a link to hate crime.
The fight began in the Shop Street/Bridge Street area after midnight on Sunday night last.
Shortly after 1am, the fight between the two groups moved to the Prospect Hill area.
A video being shared on social media shows one man getting punched, knocked to the ground and kicked a number of times.
A senior Garda spokesperson told the Galway City Tribune they are investigating the incidents under the Violent Disorder section of the Criminal Justice Act and also a potential hate crime link to what happened.
