Gardai are seeking public assistance in locating an elderly woman missing since this morning in the Ballyhaunis area.

The woman, a Bulgarian national, went missing from her home in Hazelhill Downs in Ballyhaunis town, just after 8am.

She is described as small in stature, with gray hair and may have been wearing a black sleeveless jacket. The woman has no English.

If you see the woman you are asked to immediately ring Ballyhaunis or Claremorris Garda stations or you can ring Midwest Radio studio.
