Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle collision on the N17 near Claremorris this morning.

The crash occurred at the Golfcourse Junction at around 7:30am.

Midwest News understands that the driver of the car was uninjured.

Traffic control measures were in effect as the wreckage was cleared, but the road remained fully open.
