Congratulations were extended to all the volunteers that make up Ballina Clean-Up group at yesterday’s monthly meeting of Ballina Municipal District.
The voluntary group, set up just three years ago, secured the national title of a Community Pride Award on Monday evening last.
Ballina Clean-up is a group made up of hundreds of volunteers determined to enhance the local Ballina environment, with bio-diversity concerns to the fore.
