Irish Water is working with Galway County Council to restore water as quickly as possible to all impacted customers following a burst to a water main in Athenry. The burst is currently impacting the water supply to customers in the following estates: Caislean Ri, Ard Esker, Pairc na Ri and Garrai Glas.
Dedicated water service crews have mobilised the burst and repairs are underway and expected to be completed by 10pm tonight. Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage. Irish Water understands the inconvenience and has thanked customers for their patience.
