The number of patients with Covid-19 at Mayo University Hospital has almost halved over the past month.
Figures from the HSE show there were 13 patients with the virus being treated last night at the Mayo hospital - down from 23 a month ago.
At Galway University Hospital, there's been a dramatic fall in the number of Covid patients - down from 56 a month ago to 6 at present.
There are also 8 patients with the virus being treated at Sligo University Hospital - down from 36 a month ago, and 4 at Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe.
The number of Covid-19 patients nationally is now lower than at any point since last September.
