Patients are experiencing some delays in Emergency Departments of hospitals across the region today.

Sligo University Hospital are presenting with the second highest figures in the country today where a total of 41 patients are waiting on trolleys.

Meanwhile there are 26 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Galway and a total of 19 in Mayo University Hospital.

Nationally, there are a total of 419 patients waiting on admission with University Hospital Limerick still having the highest figures nationally, where a total of 98 patients waiting on trolleys for admission today.
