The doors of Crockets Quay Bistro in Ballina are closed from today after many successful years in business.
In a statement on social media over the weekend, owner of the popular bar/restaurant Noel Regan and staff announced that they would be closing from today (Monday) onwards due, in part, to a shortage of staff.
The statement reads:
“It is with deep regret that we have to announce that Crockets will close for the foreseeable future from Monday 9th of May due to lack of staff and other mitigating circumstances beyond our control,” their statement read.
“Our sincere apologies to all our future bookings. All outstanding vouchers will be honoured this weekend and any remaining ones will be honoured by Dillons bar and restaurant until the 30th of September 2022.”
“On behalf of all the staff in Crockets, Thank you so much for the last five years. It has been an honour. We have made so many friends. The memories will long be cherished.”
