A 50 percent reduction in public transport fares will be available to young adults across the country tomorrow.

Those aged between 19 to 23 will be eligible to apply for the new 'Young Adult Leap Card', which will work alongside the 'Student Leap Card'.

Also coming into effect's a 20 percent fare reduction for all commuters in the Greater Dublin Area.

The National Transport Authority's Anne Graham, says she hopes it'll ease some of the financial strain people are experiencing.
