The number of new Covid-19 cases and deaths has continued to fall globally in the past month.

Last week, the number of deaths around the world caused by Covid fell by a fifth, compared to the previous seven days.

But Special Envoy on Covid with the World Health Organisation Dr David Nabarro says we can expect a surge in cases every four months.
