The Rescue 118 coastguard helicopter completed three back-to-back taskings yesterday afternoon.
This involved two air ambulance missions and a search and rescue mission.
During these missions they carried out a Rotors Running Refuel to enable a speedy response to the next mission.
After landing in Galway hospital they made way for their sister aircraft from Shannon who were med evacuating a patient from the Aran Islands.
