The funeral of Kate Moran takes place in Co. Galway later today.

The 20 year old died on Tuesday, following an accident during a camogie game.

The NUI Galway student was playing a senior league match in Ardrahan with her club Athenry, on Monday evening.

Funeral mass takes place at the Church of The Sacred Heart in Monivea  at 1 o'clock this afternoon.

She will be laid to rest afterwards in Templemoyle cemetery in Newcastle, Athenry.
