A candlelight vigil will be held in Ballina this evening, following the murders of two men in Sligo last week.
Aidan Moffit, a native of Lisacul, Co Roscommon and Michael Snee from Sligo were both murdered in their own homes in Sligo town early last week.
This evening's vigil in Ballina will shine a light on hate crimes against the LGBTQIA++ community.
The vigil gets underway at Tom Ruane Park at 8pm, and those attending are asked to bring a candle.
