Details

A new Institute for Health will be located at the Connacht GAA Centre in Bekan.

Health care provider UPMC is establishing an Institute for Health that will benefit Connacht GAA, sporting groups and the wider community in the West of Ireland.

With hospitals already in Kildare, Kilkenny and Waterford and a sports medicine clinic at the WIT Arena in Waterford, the company is now partnering with Connacht GAA to open its first centre in the West of Ireland, providing sports medicine and physiotherapy services.

CEO of Connacht GAA John Prenty John Prenty says they're delighted to partner with UPMC to provide sports medicine, physiotherapy services and rehabilitation programs.
