Sligo Gardai are continuing to appeal for information on an aggravated burglary in Skreen this day last week, in which a man was assaulted.
The incident occurred at about 7pm last Tuesday evening, when a number of men entered a property in Skreen on the N59, and assaulted a man in his 70's who was subsequently treated in hospital for his injuries.
Anyone travelling on the N59 between 5 and 7pm this day last week and who noticed anything suspicious, or who may have dashcam footage, is asked to contact Sligo Gardai at 071- 91 57000.
