Galway University Hospital continues to have the highest number of Covid-positive patients nationally at 78- down 6 on the previous 24 hours.
Elsewhere there are 33 patients with the virus at Mayo University Hospital- up 1, 21 at Sligo University hospital- down 2 and 16 at the Portiuncula University Hospital in Ballinasloe- up three.
97 Covid patients are being treated in intensive care units nationwide.
Of these 3 are in the Portiuncula- up 1, there’s 2 each in both Mayo and Sligo and one in Galway.
