A second business in Castlebar has been burgled at knifepoint.
It's understood a business premises on Linenhall Street in Castlebar was targeted this afternoon.
At around 3pm, a man entered the shop, pointed a knife at a staff member and left after a sum of cash was handed over.
Gardai are investigating the incident, which happened less than 24 hours after a similar one yesterday in which a shop assistant in her 20's was left shaken.
A man entered Cake My Day - a bakery on Hopkins Road, shortly before 4pm yesterday afternoon and brandished a knife while instructing the young woman to empty the till.
He then fled the scene on foot with the cash.
There was no-one else in the shop at the time, and no-one was injured.
Bernie Campbell, who owns the shop, says her 24-year old daughter was left shaken by the incident.
