The European Medicines Agency's meeting today to discuss authorising the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for children ages five to 11.

However it's unclear if a decision on its use will be made today.

The US began rolling out the vaccine for young children earlier this month, following approval.

Professor of Experimental Immunology at Trinity College Dublin, Kingston Mills, believe its use in Europe will be given the go ahead.
