The National Lottery has revealed the Galway store that sold a €1 million euro winning ticket in Saturday night's Lotto Plus 1 draw.

The winner purchased their ticket on Saturday at the Costcutter shop in the village of Bealadangan in the Galway Gaeltacht.

The lucky ticket scooped the top prize in Saturday's Lotto Plus 1 draw, and owner Noel Daniels - who only recently took over the running of the store - said the whole community is buzzing with news that one of their neighbours could be a Lotto millionaire.
