Mayo, Galway and Roscommon feature among the 103 areas that have secured the international accolade of 2021 Green Flag Awards

The initiative, which's operated by An Taisce, honours high-quality parks and green spaces that are managed in a sustainable way.

This year, Ireland ranks number one, across the 16 participating counties for the highest number of Green Flag sites, with 103 awards.
