The Rural Ireland Organisation is among the groups taking part in the Cop 26 Coalition Ireland demonstration in Dublin City this afternoon.
Leader of RIO Gerry Loftus has lambasted the Climate Action Plan agreed by Government during the week, claiming that there is nothing in it to reduce emissions in Agriculture.
The North Mayo man says it is incorrect to say their won't be a reduction in livestock numbers, with plans for increased government control of forestry, peatlands and mineral soils.
Mr Loftus says that farmers must fight back and he is calling on Rural Ireland to join them and over twenty other groups and organisations in the Cop 26 March for justice for Small and medium sized farmers.
The March begins at 12 O'clock on Saturday at the garden of remembrance and proceeds to the Dail.
