The Galway Christmas Market has been given the green light to return next month.
Galway City Council has issued a license for the event, which will run from the 12th of November to the 22nd of December.
A mainstay in the festive calendar since 2010, the event was cancelled last year due to public health concerns over Covid-19.
This year will see the return of iconic features such as food stalls, a marquee and the big wheel to Eyre Square.
Producer of the Galway Christmas Market Maria Moynihan-Lee told Midwest News that it will back in a similar format to the 2019 event.
