In this region, 13 Covid patients are being treated at University Hospital Galway, 9 at both Mayo and Sligo University Hospitals and 2 at Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe.

No visitors are currently allowed on St Bridget's ward, St Teresa's Ward or St Coman's Ward.
Testing and contact tracing of patients and staff are now underway at the hospital, while people with outpatient or other appointments are advised to attend their appointment unless advised not to do so by hospital staff.
