Rugby legend Rory Best is on the final leg of his walk from Co Down to Cong, to raise funds for the Cancer Fund for Children.
The charity runs a therapeutic centre in Co Down for children with cancer, and is planning to build a similar facility in Cong in Co Mayo.
Former Ireland and Lions Rugby captain Rory Best is on the last day of his 180-mile walk from Newcastle in Co Down to Cong, where he expects to arrive at about 4 o'clock this afternoon.
Rory is aiming to raise half a million euro for the charity, and says over €400,000 of that target has already been raised.
He told Midwest Radio today that he's been delighted with the support from local communities and schoolchildren along the way.
