Mayo County Councillors have been told they will be updated later this month on plans for a Mayo GAA Centre of Excellence at Lough Lannagh in Castlebar.

The Council's Chief Executive Kevin Kelly told councillors that he will be meeting again next week with the Mayo GAA County Board, and will update the members before the end of September.
Councillor Kilcoyne told Midwest News that he raised the matter again, as this has been going on for some time with no clarification on the plans....
