Two products from Kelly’s Butchers, Newport have reached the finals of the prestigious Blás na hÉireann Irish Food Awards 2021 to be held in October.

Kelly’s Black Pudding and Kelly’s Hazlett were both selected from the large volume of entrants.

The Blás na hÉireann Irish Food Awards are now in their 14th year and recognise and reward the best of Irish food and drink, and the passionate people who make them.

This is the biggest blind tasting of produce in the country.

Judges come from a range of food backgrounds; chefs, restaurateurs, academics, journalists, authors, food champions, caterers and enthusiastic home cooks.

Kelly’s Butchers have won several awards over the years and are looking forward to the final award announcements next month.
