Upgrade work has commenced on repairing the bridge at Bowers Walk in Ballinrobe.
The pedestrian bridge, as part of the walk, is currently being replaced and should be complete in the next five weeks.
This has been confirmed by local Fine Gael Councillor Michael Burke who say’s the work should be completed by the end of September.
Cllr. Burke says it’s one of the finest walkways in the West of Ireland and has been giving more details to Midwest News.
