Covid-19 figures are very high in the Ballymote -Tubbercurry areas of Co Sligo and in the Roscommon local electoral area.
A breakdown of Covid-19 figures by local electoral areas shows that these two areas are among the top ten highest incidence rates.
Buncrana in Co Donegal has the highest rate nationally at 880 per 100,000 cases - almost 7 times the national average.
The Ballymote-Tubbercurry area is showing a 14-day rate of 262 per 100,000 people, and Roscommon 255 per 100,000 - both areas are over twice the national average.
At the other end of the scale, 14 electoral areas nationally have recorded less than 5 new cases of the virus over the past two weeks - including Westport and Belmullet.
These areas are considered almost Covid-free.
