Several hotels in the West were among the winners in the 2021 Irish Hotel Awards this week.

The Lodge at Ashford Castle in Cong was named Ireland's best 4-star hotel.

The Lodge also won the Fine Dining Hotel of the Year award.

Mount Falcon in Ballina won the award for Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year, while the Glasshouse Hotel in Sligo won the award for Excellence in Service.

The gHotel in Galway was named Spa Hotel of the Year and also won the award for Hotel Bar of the Year, while the Radisson Blu in Athlone was named Business & Conference Hotel of the Year.

The Irish Hotel Award celebrate the commitment and dedication of Ireland's hospitality industry.
