An immunology expert thinks young people here need to be vaccinated in the autumn as they're at huge risk of being infected with Covid-19.
Professor Kingston Mills says most cases of the virus are in the 19 to 24 year old age group, followed by 14 to 19 year olds.
It comes as 434 new cases were confirmed yesterday along with four more deaths.
There were 19 new cases in county Roscommon, 8 in Galway, and less than 5 cases in each of the three counties – Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim.
