Three Local Electoral Areas across the region recorded less than 5 new cases of Covid-19 over two weeks.
Belmullet, Westport and Connemara North all had some of the lowest levels of infection across the country in the period that ended on Monday.
The country's 14-day incidence rate stood at 122.5 per 100,000 people over the period.
The Ballina LEA was the only area in Mayo exceeding this average, with a rate of 227 cases per 100,000, accounting for 57 cases.
Elsewhere, Swinford had a rate of 81; it was 47 in Castlebar and 33 in Claremorris per 100,000.
In Galway, Tuam was the only area with a rate in excess of the national average, at 166 per 100,000.
