There are 329 patients with Covid-19 in hospitals across the country.

This includes 68 in ICU, according to the HSE’s update on acute hospitals at 8pm last night.

There are 14 patients with the virus at Sligo University Hospital, 7 at University Hospital Galway- up two, 6 at Mayo University Hospital and 4 at the Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe- up one.

Of those there are one each in critical care units in both Galway and Sligo, while Mayo and the Portiuncula’s critical care units remain covid free.

Meanwhile, there are 19 patients on trolleys awaiting beds in Sligo, 16 in Mayo, 6 at the Portiuncula and 2 in Galway, according to the INMO.
