Mayo TD Alan Dillon believes five key areas should be prioritised ahead of the expected easing of restrictions over the coming weeks.
The Fine Gael Deputy has summarised the issues being raised by his constituents into five sections.
These are the return of Click/Call and Collect services, the Construction sector, Sports, an easing of Maternity restrictions and the phased return of public worship.
He brought these recommendations before the Fine Gael parliamentary party meeting during the week, saying they will make a vast difference to people’s lives and the spirit of our communities.
The Castlebar-based TD also says the prospect of getting leftover vaccine supply from the UK cannot be completely disregarded.
Deputy Dillon told Midwest News that we now need to focus on maximising the physical activity and mental health benefits of the summer months.
