A number of homes along the west coast of Mayo and Galway are without power this morning, according to the ESB powercheck app.

Almost 200 are without power in Achill, a number of homes are without power in the Leenane area and over 70 are without power in the Lettermore area of Galway.

These outages were caused by faults and have estimated restoration time of 12 noon.

There are also over 60 without power in the Clifden area and their power should come back by 1pm.

ESB have apologised for the loss of supply and say they are currently working to repair these faults and will restore power as quickly as possible.
