The Castlebar LEA has the fourth highest 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 in the country, at over twice the national average.
It had 700 cases per 100,000 people as of Monday last, while the national rate of infection was 319.
That accounts for 210 cases out of the areas 29,992 population over the fortnight.
The next highest infection rate in Mayo was the Claremorris LEA with a rate of 343, Belmullet with 286, Swinford with 260, Westport with 212, and Ballina with a rate of 163 per 100,000 people.
The LEA with the highest rate in Connacht outside of Mayo is Tuam, with a rate of 404 cases per 100,000.
