Lidl announced today the return of 36 products from 25 small Irish suppliers, including a local Mayo business, which were part of the retailer’s annual Kick Start Supplier Development Programme last summer.
The limited edition range will be available in Lidl’s 208 stores from Thursday next, 28th January and features Mayo-based supplier, Harvest Moon Foods’ range of Hummus including Spicy Vegan, Sweet Potato & Coriander and Roasted Red Pepper flavours and tasty vegan Pesto, Pâté and Tapenades.
The Westport supplier has taken part in Lidl’s Kickstart programme since its launch in 2017. As a result of the partnership, the artisan supplier has been able to invest in new machinery which increased their capacity for larger orders and consequently grew their operations significantly..
