Sinn Fein says a 'basic right' to birth certificates is still denied to adopted people in Ireland, and has proposed a solution.
It's published leglisation that, if enacted, would give those people, including survivors of Mother and Baby Homes access to the documents.
The only requirements would be that the person is over 18 and pays any potential admin fee associated with it.
