A cold spell of weather looks set to impact Ireland for the rest of the year.
A status yellow snow-ice warning was extended across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal until 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.
There will be further falls of snow in places today and tonight leading to accumulations in some areas.
Separately another snow-ice warning has been issued for Louth, Cavan and Monaghan.
It comes into effect at 5 o’clock tomorrow morning and lasts until 12 noon.
