Gardai in Achill are advising motorists of hazardous driving conditions in the area this evening.
A Met Éireann Status Yellow Wind Warning is in place for the whole country until 6am tomorrow.
Gardai are urging motorists to watch out for wind-blown debris on the roads, and when driving in windy conditions, slow down and be extra mindful of vulnerable road users such as pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.
