A search is continuing today in north Mayo for a missing man.
The man, who's in his late 60's and living in the Lacken area, was last seen at about lunchtime on Thursday.
His car was located on Friday afternoon at Downpatrick Head, and the Coastguard launched an extensive search operation.
The land search has been continuing throughout the weekend, also involving the Civil Defence, Gardai and the Grainne Uaile sub-aqua club.
Weather conditions have hampered plans for a sea search but it is understood that conditions will allow for that to happen today.
Gardai say searches have taken place from Ballycastle Pier to Killala, along the entire stretch of coastline, and they're appealing to people to be vigilant when out walking, and if they can assist in tracing the missing man, they're asked to contact Ballina Garda Station at 096 - 20560.
