Ryanair are suspending all flights operations from Ireland West Airport Knock - and the other regional airports tomorrow for a 4-week period.

This means Ireland West Airport will close on Saturday and reopen four weeks later, on Sunday 13th December.

Earlier this week, six million euro in additional government funding was announced for three regional airports – Ireland West Airport Knock, Kerry and Donegal airports under the Aeronautical Loss fund 2020.

The exact allocation under this fund to each airport will be announced later.
