Sligo and Galway continue to have 14-day incidence rates of the virus that are higher than the national average.
Currently, the 14-day rate nationally is 309 per 100,000 people.
Cavan has the highest rate - over three times the national average - at 967 followed by Meath.
Sligo has the third highest rate of the virus nationally - with 442 cases per 100,000 people, and Galway is in 5th place at 382 per 100,000 population.
Mayo's 14-day incidence rate is now 254 - just lower than Roscommon, while Leitrim now has the lowest incidence rate in Connacht.
