110 people are being treated for Covid-19 in Irish hospitals this morning.

It's the highest number of patients with the disease in the facilities since June 8th.

18 people meanwhile are being treated in intensive care after being diagnosed with the coronavirus.

HSE CEO Paul Reid has said although it’s lower than the peak admissions with the virus it is a call to arms to stop the spread of Covid-19.
