Funeral arrangements have been announced for the young man who died following a road traffic collision on the N60 on Thursday night.
Jason Killeen, of Cullatinny, Knock died in the single vehicle crash on the road just outside of Ballyhaunis near Cloonafarna.
The incident occurred shortly before 11pm on Thursday night close to the Roscommon border.
The 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and a 21-year-old man was transferred to Mayo University Hospital by ambulance, his injuries are not believed to be serious
Jason is survived by his parents Patrick and Lorraine Killeen, his sister Chloe, grandparents James Killeen (Carrownedan) and Michael and Josephine Nally (Knock) and his extended family and friends.
His Funeral Mass takes place in The Basilica of Our Lady Queen of Ireland, Knock on Monday morning at 10 o'clock with the funeral proceeding to the New Cemetery, Knock.
The Funeral is restricted to family and close friends.
Claremorris Gardaí are appealing to any persons who travelled along the N60 between 10:30pm and 11.15pm on Thursday evening to check for video footage (including dashcam) and make it available to them.
