In terms of the 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19, Co Roscommon is now higher than Co Leitrim - which had been named as a county of concern by the National Public Health Emergency team.

In the two weeks up to Sunday 20th September, Co Roscommon had a 14-day incidence rate of 43.4 cases per 100,000 of the population - while Leitrim was on 34.3.

Mayo's incidence rate per 100,000 people is 26.1, while it's over 30 in Galway and 18.3 in Sligo  -compared to 96.7 in Donegal.

The data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre shows Leitrim has seen a significant drop in its 14-day incidence rate - down from 81 earlier this month to 34.3 over the last 14 days.
