A Ballinrobe Councillor has welcomed the work that has taken place in the Library Building in the town.
The project will cost around €200,000 and it is expected to move to Phase Two in the near future.
Cllr. Michael Burke says the work should be completed in the early part of the New Year.
Cllr. Burke says in addition to this there is a lot of work done to enhance the whole area around the Library building which will become known as the Library Ground Plaza.
He has been telling Midwest Radio News that this project will enhance the overall image of Ballinrobe.
